Leave a gift in your will

There are two types of gifts you can leave in your Will. You can leave a specific sum of money, or a share of your estate.

This is a percentage of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid. Even a small percentage can help, as these gifts usually maintain or increase their value over time.

Inheritance Tax

If you leave a gift to Savera UK in your Will, it won’t be included when valuing your estate for Inheritance Tax purposes. The value of your gift will be deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is applied. However, Inheritance Tax rules can change so it’s always best to discuss your Will and the type of gift you might like to leave with your solicitor.

How to leave a gift in your Will

If you like, you can also get in touch to tell us you have left a donation in your Will. We would love the opportunity to say thank you, and knowing a gift has been left to us also allows us to plan for the future. You can contact us to let us know at [email protected]

No gift too small

Remember, no gift is too small and any donation left in your Will enables us to help more people find their ‘savera’ (new beginning) and helps us to move closer to our vision of a world without ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices.
