Savera UK, Zonta Club London (a member of Zonta International) and the Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, John Dwyer, are joining forces to raise awareness of gender-based violence/abuse in the UK and around the world.
We are speaking out against domestic violence/abuse, rape and harassment, as well as more hidden harmful practices like ‘honour’-based abuse, female genital mutilation and forced marriage.
The UN’s Orange the World campaign and annual 16 days of activism against gender-based violence takes place between Thursday, 25th November and Friday, 10th December and we have created a toolkit to help individuals and organisations to participate.
Our Orange the World Toolkit is packed with themes, activities and ideas for the 16 days of activism, which will inspire you to get involved with the fight against gender-based violence.
Join the campaign and download the toolkit here.
When sharing your activities on social media, don’t forget to tag @SaveraUK and @ZontaLondon and use the hashtags #16Days #OrangeTheWorld and #NoExcuseForAbuse.
We’ll share as many of your social media posts as we can.
