Every year, 5,000 people are killed as a result of ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA).
Savera UK is working to make that number 0.
We need you to raise awareness and money to help us meet that goal.
Last year, during the 16 Days Of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we asked you to take on a #5KForTheFiveThousand and we marched through Liverpool city centre to launch the campaign.
The campaign will return in 2023, with people pledging to take on #5KtoEndHBA between Friday, 25th November and Saturday, 10th December.
Get your family and friends to sponsor you to do your 5K your way – you can walk it, run it, cycle it or swim it, or even get creative by knitting or sewing 5,000 stitches, doing a 5,000 piece jigsaw or doing ANYTHING to raise 5,000p (£50) to support our cause.
Your 5K will help us to end HBA.
