Education and youth settings

We work with schools, sixth forms, colleges, and universities to deliver age-appropriate, informative sessions to students. Our education sessions are designed to empower students and young people to understand, identify and challenge HBA and harmful practices, and to ensure they understand how to seek support if they or a young person they know is experiencing this type of abuse.

Ayesha Alam (she/her)
Training and Development Manager

With a specialist background in forensic psychology and extensive experience across the criminal justice, health, and voluntary sectors. Ayesha delivers culturally competent, trauma-informed training to professionals working with those affected by HBA and harmful practices.

A published researcher in HBA, she combines academic insight with survivor perspectives and practitioner expertise. Her evidence-based sessions are built around real case studies, digital tools, and interactive exercises to encourage reflection and deliver measurable outcomes.

Rachel Baughen (she/her)
Education and Youth Engagement Officer at Savera UK

Rachel has a background in educational outreach, working with students from underrepresented communities. She is passionate about collaborating with young people on the issues that matter most to them, delivering relevant and thought-provoking sessions for both students and those who support them.

Currently studying for a Master’s in International Development, Rachel brings a global and intersectional lens to her work. Her training focuses on education and youth settings, using education as a tool to challenge HBA and harmful practices. Her academic work directly informs her approach, grounding each session in research, reflection, and real-world relevance.
