Savera UK Volunteer Programme

We are holding our second Volunteer Programme on 24th and 25th July, 5pm - 7pm (venue to be confirmed upon application).
We have different tiers of volunteer which will depend on your skills. Please see below:
‘Friends’ of Savera: responsible for promoting the service and ad hoc support at events. This role will provide an opportunity for someone to gain knowledge of communities and organising training events.
Peer Support (1-1 with women): providing face to face / phone support to women who need ongoing support once the support worker has supported them with the initial crisis This role will provide valuable experience to work directly with women who have experienced harmful practices / domestic abuse.
Specialist Volunteers: responsible for supporting frontline staff, providing expert knowledge and skills. These volunteers require a specialist qualification: such as qualified counsellor; qualified social worker.
Savera UK is very small team and rely so much on the help and support from volunteers.
